Game Face AR is a selfie face paint app that uses the iPhone X TrueDepth camera and iOS 11’s ARKit augmented reality technology to allow a user to decorate their faces with flags and badges of their favorite soccer team without the mess and smell of real paint.

You are probably already familiar with the fact that one of the most iconic ways to show full support for your team is painting your face with a look of a flag of your favorite team. People do it before they come to the soccer stadium but even in pubs and other public areas.  However, if you haven’t done this before because you just don’t like painting on your face, or you just don’t want to mass up with that coloring procedure, now you don’t have to. With Game Face AR you can wear the flag of your favorite team digitally right on your face then take a picture or recorded a video and share it with your friends.

The cool thing is that when you move your face, the flag image will stick on it, this is the magic of Apple’s TrueDepth camera and advanced face recognition and tracking technology.

Fame Face AR features flags and badges for all top 32 international football teams with 5 styles of masks to choose from. You can easily share the picture or video online on WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, and other social networks. This is a great way to show your support for your favorite soccer team and amaze your friends who haven’t thought you’ll go that far.

The features countries are: Russia, Saudi Arabia, Uruguay, France, Austria, Peru, Denmark, Brazil, Switzerland, Costarica, Serbia, Belgium, Panama, Tunisia, England, Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Iran, Argentina, Iceland, Croatia, Nigeria, Germany, Mexico, Swden, South Korea, Poland, Senegal, Colombia, Japan.

According to the official game’s website: “More sports, teams and tournaments are coming soon”.

Keep in mind that this app requires an iOS 11.0 or later Apple device. It worked on my iPhone 5S, but I was only able to place a rectangular flag on screen. To position a flag on your face you’ll need an iPhone X device to make it work, as the app uses the TrueDepth camera’s capability of the phone to make the “magic” happen.

You can download Game Face AR app for iOS here. This is a paid app, it costs $1.99 as of the time of writing.
