Boogie AR is described by the developer as “Dancing Politicians”. This is indeed what this app is all about. You just your favorite or least favorite politicians and let their cartoon version of him dance right inside your living room or wherever you want him to dance.
The game features the following politicians: Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Vladimir Putin and Angela Merkel.Ā All of those politicians are behind a paywall, but you do get to start up with two free ones: Bill Clinton and Geroge W. Bush, probably because they are not relevant anymore š

I didn’t pay to unlock them all, although I really wanted to see Trump dancing on my window. You can even spawn many politicians at the same time and all will dance together. There is no background music though, it’s just the dancing stuff.
You can resize and rotate the politicians, so for example, you can make Barak Obama huge and make Trump small like a Dancing Baby.
There are also seven different dance styles to choose from, each one signified with a different color. The 3D character models look very detailed and the dancing animation is not less impressive.

The only problem I found is that I can change the dance for each character individually. When I change the dance style, it changesĀ it only for the last character I placed.
There is also a movie recording button that allows you to record a dancing session without the UI to your camera roll on your iPhone or iPad, only with the app name at the bottom right side.

Boogie AR is an ARKit app that works only onĀ ARKit-compatible devices runningĀ iOS 11.0 OS and up.
Boogie AR is a playful political parody and satire that works really well in augmented reality. It was hilarious watching both Goerge Bush and Bill Clinton dancing in my living room, this is pretty funny and funky stuff.
This app is not aligned with and does not endorse any political group or politician.
Overall, an entertaining app to pass some free time and having a laugh on the way.
